As a Field Engineer, you will be involved in every part of our business. From acquiring essential data to planning long-term well development, you will organize, run, and report operations in the field environment and assist Specialists and other Engineers with key decisions. Your training will be hands-on as you learn about the energy industry and become an expert in the various tools and services in your business line. With the help of management and a comprehensive development program, you will be given responsibility and support to make your impact and start becoming a leader in our business. Our Field Specialists focus on the vital technical and operational procedures that ensure our sites are safe and our customers get exceptional service. You will receive intensive instruction in troubleshooting, safety, and client interaction to develop a deep technical understanding of what we do. Through a combination of hands-on learning and formal training, you will become the company's representative on-site, with supervisory responsibility, working through a range of complex, practical challenges and developing innovative strategies to solve them. Responsibilities Field Specialist & Field EngineerPerform operations, operate equipment, and be accountable for team wellsite performance by the end of your trainingManage field operations, including engineering design, maintenance, job planning, and operational reportingLearn the well construction process and understand the role of different service companiesSupport engineers and specialists on-site and help with essential duties, such as risk analysisEffectively manage a crew and/or processes within a yearHelp prepare wellsite reports and post-job debriefingsActively contribute to continuous improvement culture across the businessAs a Remote Engineer, you will be responsible for providing service excellence and high-quality products to our customers while working remotely from the wellsite in our state-of-the-art remote operations center where you will be responsible to lead the field crew and supervise wellsite operations. A role-specific development program will include theoretical and hands-on training of our technologies as well as data interpretation techniques, giving you the knowledge to succeed as an expert in your business line. By joining the remote operations team, you are leading our company to revolutionize the industry, directly contributing to the digitalization of field operations. Responsibilities Operate downhole and surface equipment remotely from the wellsite to capture data Manage field operations including engineering design, risk analysis, operation safety and operational reporting. Verify the quality of data before delivering digital products to customers Communicate with client representatives and rig personnel during all the phases of well construction Serve as the technical expert of SLB technologies, ensuring the customer is achieving their objectives during operations.
