In this role you will be responsible for negotiating the best commercial agreements with suppliers of indirect material, supported by Autoliv´s policies and code of ethics, the operational buyer solve problems and look for savings opportunities and participate actively to find VEVA opportunities to improve cost and process, as well to become a trusted advisor for the stakeholders.

        Should you be interested in overseeing these tasks and aiming for enhanced performance standards, your role will involve:

  • Lead local sourcing and procurement activities by reviewing purchase requirements, identifying qualified suppliers, issuing purchase orders, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services to support plant operations.

  • Develop and manage supplier relationships, including supplier qualification, performance monitoring, contract implementation, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement in quality, cost, and service.

  • Drive sourcing initiatives and competitive bidding processes by conducting market analyses, evaluating supplier proposals, leading negotiations, and securing favorable commercial agreements.

  • Act as the primary procurement advisor for internal stakeholders, providing guidance throughout the purchasing cycle, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and recommending value-added sourcing alternatives.

  • Collaborate with local, regional, and global sourcing teams to support strategic procurement projects, track key performance indicators, ensure contract compliance, and achieve savings and operational excellence targets.

     If you have/are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in international business, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.

  • 1–5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment.

  • Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with suppliers, internal customers, and strategic sourcing teams.

  • Experience leading or coordinating cross-functional projects, with demonstrated project management and leadership capabilities.

  • Proficiency in ERP systems, preferably JD Edwards (JDE), along with strong analytical skills for data interpretation, supplier evaluation, and cost optimization.
