Customs Account Analyst, Junior

The Role
This position is responsible for receiving, reviewing, and entering customs documents. In this role you will be processing shipments using standard operating procedures. May obtain additional information or seek guidance from more senior team members.
Key Responsibilities
To provide the highest level of customer service to clients, vendors, and service providers. Prepare customs and internal documents accurately with guidance when necessary. Handling client queries in a prompt, efficient and professional manner. Contact clients or other brokers to request additional documents or information if needed. Respond to calls and questions from internal and external sources. Trace shipments and set up pre-arrivals at Customs. Proper escalation and reporting of any issues or delays to Team Leader. Perform other responsibilities as assigned. Leadership Responsibilities N/A Job Details Reports to Team Leader Permanent Operations Full-time/Part-time US, CND, MX Remote/Hybrid/Office Required Qualifications and Experience High School diploma or equivalent. Minimum 1 year of experience in similar role. Preferred experience with customs brokerage software. Basic MS Office knowledge. Basic knowledge of the LVS program (CND Only). Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks. Customs/Logistics industry related experience preferable. Physical Demands Occasionally bend, squat, kneel, reach above shoulder, and frequently sit, handle objects (manual dexterity), use fine finger movement. Occasionally must carry/lift loads of up to 15 lbs. Work Environment Frequently read/comprehend, write, perform calculations, communicate orally, reason and analyse.
