1. What will you do?

As a Full-Time Faculty Member in Sustainable and Civil Technologies, you will join one of the leading educational institutions in Latin America, consistently ranked among the world’s top universities and recognized for its academic excellence, educational innovation, and international outlook.

This position responds to the need to strengthen student education within the Sustainable and Civil Technologies Department, connecting academic learning with the evolving needs of society and transforming the educational experience into one that is closely connected to real-world professional practice.

In this role, you will contribute to the development of highly competitive students, the strengthening of our academic community, and the national and international positioning of Tecnológico de Monterrey through academic practice aligned with global standards of quality, impact, and relevance.

2. How will you do it?

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Design and deliver rigorous and challenging learning experiences aligned with international standards of academic excellence.

  • Strengthen and continuously update the Sustainable and Civil Technologies program, contributing to its academic differentiation and excellence.

  • Generate impact through research, industry and community engagement, and/or relevant academic contributions.

  • Collaborate strategically with faculty members to strengthen the School’s academic positioning and impact.

3. What are we looking for?

  • Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering or a closely related field, earned from a university ranked among the Top 100 in the QS World University Rankings.

  • University-level teaching experience.

  • Demonstrated research experience and a record of scientific publications in indexed, peer-reviewed journals.

  • Experience securing research funding through the preparation and submission of funding proposals to national and international agencies and/or private-sector organizations.

  • English proficiency equivalent to C1 level (TOEFL).

  • Experience and knowledge in material and energy balances, thermodynamics, process energy analysis, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, thermal systems, energy efficiency, and the energy valorization of materials.

  • Ability to conduct research, engage and mentor students, and collaborate on interdisciplinary projects.
