· Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field.
· 4+ years of experience administering Linux server environments.
· Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), CentOS, Ubuntu Linux.
· Experience performing operating system installation, configuration, patching, and upgrades.
· Knowledge of server monitoring and performance tuning.
· Experience in capacity planning and infrastructure maintenance.
· Understanding of system security, user administration, and access management.
· Experience troubleshooting hardware, operating system, and application performance issues.
· Knowledge of networking fundamentals, TCP/IP, DNS, SSH, NTP.
• Responsibilities
· Manage and administer Linux server environments to ensure availability, reliability, and performance.
· Configure, install, maintain, and upgrade server hardware and operating systems.
· Monitor server performance, system health, and resource utilization.
· Proactively identify and resolve issues.
· Perform system updates, patch management, and security remediation activities.
· Plan and manage server capacity to support business growth and operational requirements.
· Execute preventive maintenance activities to minimize service interruptions and unplanned downtime.
· Troubleshoot and resolve system, hardware, operating system, and infrastructure-related incidents.
· Implement and enforce security standards, access controls, and system hardening practices.
· Support backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes.
· Collaborate with network, database, application, and security teams.
· Document configurations, procedures, and technical solutions.
· Participate in incident management, root cause analysis, and problem resolution efforts.
