Plant Purchasing Buyer MC

Objective Develop and implement sourcing strategies for corporate functions to optimize costs, mitigate risks, ensure compliance with purchasing policies, and create value through strategic negotiations and supplier management. Main Responsibilities
• Participate in strategic sourcing initiatives for indirect categories and corporate services, developing strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Manage RFQ, RFP, and RFI processes and supplier negotiations.
• Identify opportunities to reduce costs and optimize spending.
• Manage supplier relationships and develop continuous improvement plans.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across Finance, Human Resources, Facilities, IT, Legal, Security, Engineering, and Operations.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies, internal controls, and purchasing processes.
• Analyze market trends, supply risks, and commercial terms.
• Monitor purchasing KPIs, savings, contracts, and supplier compliance.
• Support internal and external audits related to purchasing processes.
• Lead and present sourcing projects and strategies to the Regional Purchasing Committee.
• Automate recurring purchases through framework agreements, catalogs, and purchasing tools.
• Negotiate, formalize, and administer commercial contracts. Position Requirements. Intermediate proficiency in:

• Legal aspects of purchasing, process management, and governance.
• Technical and materials knowledge, and quality assurance.
