Overview You play a crucial role in balancing the financial health of our organization with strategic decision-making and long-term planning. Responsibilities Spearhead proactive foreign trade compliance and regulatory forecasting, safeguarding the enterprise against fiscal and customs exposure by anticipating changes in Mexican customs regulations, managing specialized government programs, and mitigating supply chain risks before authority intervention. Strategic Customs Compliance Architecture & Regulatory Intelligence Predictive Regulatory Governance: Establish and execute a forward-looking customs compliance framework that anticipates changes in Mexican customs legislation, ensuring business continuity and immunizing the enterprise against regulatory exposure. Fiscal & Customs Program Optimization: Oversee the strategic leverage and health of specialized customs programs (IMMEX, PROSEC, AEO, IVA/IEPS Certification, Rule 8th, and FTAs) to maximize tax efficiencies, drive landed-cost reductions, and maintain active certifications and programs. Enterprise Risk Mitigation & Audit Readiness Proactive Audit Defense & Risk Neutralization: Direct continuous post-clearance reviews and self-audit protocols to identify, mitigate, and remediate systemic compliance risks prior to official authority intervention. Ecosystem Integrity & Partner Governance: Safeguard the enterprise by auditing and monitoring the fiscal and regulatory health of key supply chain stakeholders, suppliers, customs brokers, and legal entities. Agile Operations & Supply Chain Resilience Operational Continuity & Customs Interventions: Formulate real-time escalation protocols to swiftly resolve customs clearance bottlenecks, operational challenges, and regulatory holds, keeping supply chain velocity intact. Strategic Partner & Project Execution: Integrate customs compliance strategies into early-stage business projects and manage performance frameworks (KPI/KPO) for customs brokers and foreign trade vendors to safeguard the company’s fiscal and regulatory compliance. Qualifications Hard Skills Expert Mexican Customs, Regulatory Mastery & Development Programs Predictive Data & Analytics Management Strategic KPI & KPO Architecture Process Standardization & Continuous Control ERP & Foreign Trade Systems Management Compliance procedures with customs authorities Soft Skills Autonomous Drive & Continuous Adaptation Collaborative Cross-Functional Teamwork Service-Oriented Partnership Uncompromising Accountability & Ownership Leadership and Team Management Problem Solving and Decision Making English Language.
