Role Mission:
As a Product Operations Associate, you will play a critical role in setting up,
managing, and connecting travel products within UJV's systems. You will work
closely with suppliers, connectivity providers, reservations teams, and internal
information systems to ensure that hotel and ground service products, including
tours, transfers, activities, and other destination services, are accurately
integrated, maintained, and available for sale. This role requires strong
attention to detail, advanced Excel skills, and the ability to troubleshoot data
and connectivity issues.
You Will:
* Manage the onboarding, verification, setup, and ongoing maintenance of supplier and product information within UJV's systems.
* Ensure the accurate and timely entry and management of product data, including hotel details, room information, pricing, markups, travel advisor commissions, fees, and other relevant information.
* Support the setup and management of ground products and services, including tours, transfers, activities, and other destination services.
* Review and troubleshoot connectivity-related issues, including XML data, API integrations, and transmission errors when applicable.
* Collaborate with the Reservations and Sales teams by answering product-related questions and helping resolve issues that may impact bookings.
* Manage content updates such as general information, itinerary descriptions, and terms & conditions.
* Work with suppliers, connectivity providers, and internal teams to investigate and resolve product, data, and booking discrepancies.
* Conduct quality assurance (QA) checks to verify the accuracy of data consumed and entered, and provide solutions to potential discrepancies.
* Use Excel and CSV files to manage, validate, manipulate, and prepare large amounts of product and service data for system uploads.
* Identify discrepancies and opportunities to improve processes, data accuracy, and operational efficiency
* Manage special projects as assigned by your manager, aimed at improving processes and operational efficiency. You Have:

Experience:
1–3 years of experience in travel product operations, supplier connectivity, travel technology, hotel operations, tour operations, or inventory management.
* Travel Industry Knowledge: experience with travel products/suppliers; ground services, tour operators, destination services, transfers, or activities highly valued.
* Connectivity: XML data feeds, APIs, or travel technology integrations; hotel, ground service/tour operator connectivity.
* Tools: Proficiency with Google Workspace; strong hands-on Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, filtering, sorting, and other data validation tools. Comfort using AI tools such as Claude to support daily workflows is a plus. Familiarity with GDS systems (such as Amadeus or Sabre), CRS, CMS, booking platforms, or other travel technology systems is also a plus.
* Problem-Solving: Comfortable identifying data, system, and connectivity discrepancies and working collaboratively to find solutions
* Languages: full professional fluency in English, written and verbal.
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
* The flexibility to adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. Personal Effectiveness:
* You are highly detail-oriented and take ownership of maintaining accurate and reliable product data.
* You are comfortable working extensively with Excel, CSV files, and large amounts of detailed information.
