Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Front Desk Manager role based in the Mexico City Metropolitan Area. The Front Desk Manager oversees daily front desk operations, ensuring guests receive timely, courteous, and effective service from arrival to departure. Responsibilities include supervising front desk staff, managing check-in and check-out procedures, handling reservations and bookings, and resolving guest inquiries or issues. The role also involves maintaining accurate records, coordinating with housekeeping and other departments, monitoring lobby appearance and safety, and implementing service standards to enhance guest satisfaction. The Front Desk Manager is expected to lead by example, provide ongoing training and feedback to the team, and support continuous improvement in front-of-house processes.
Qualifications
• Strong customer service and customer satisfaction skills, with a focus on creating positive guest experiences.
• Experience with receptionist duties and front desk operations, including check-ins, check-outs, and guest inquiries.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English and Spanish.
• Proficiency in managing reservations, booking systems, and basic reporting.
• Previous front desk, hospitality, or hotel management experience, preferably in boutique or curated stays.
• Ability to lead and motivate a front desk team, including scheduling, training, and performance support.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfort with using hotel management software (Front2Go PMS System) and standard office tools (e.g., email, spreadsheets).
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Relevant education in hospitality management or a related field is an advantage.
