Role Description The Sales Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Mexico City. The person in this role will engage with current and prospective industrial clients to understand their technical and operational needs, present tailored automation and control solutions, and support the full sales cycle from initial contact through to post-sale follow-up. Day-to-day responsibilities. Qualifications
• Strong Sales Engineering and Technical Support skills, with the ability to translate complex industrial and automation concepts into practical solutions for clients.
• Proficiency in Sales and Customer Service, including consultative selling, relationship management, and follow-up to ensure client satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
• Effective Communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders and deliver compelling presentations and proposals.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (e.g., electrical, mechanical, industrial, automation) or a related technical field; equivalent practical experience may be considered.
• Experience in industrial automation, process control, or Smart Manufacturing (IIoT/Industry 4.0, MES, AI) is highly beneficial.
• Ability to work on-site in CDMX.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with comfort in using data and technical documentation to support recommendations.
• Professional proficiency in Spanish; English skills are advantageous for working with international teams and clients.
