We are looking for a Trading Operations Associate to join our team in Mexico City and support the day-to-day operations behind our trading activity. This role will work closely with the Trading, Operations, and Finance teams to support settlements, funding, reconciliations, reporting, and counterpart requests. As Nonco continues to expand across markets, venues, and liquidity providers, the Trading Operations Associate will help ensure that daily operational processes are completed accurately, efficiently, and on time. This is a hands-on role suited for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, comfortable working with numbers, and interested in building experience in trading operations and digital assets. Responsibilities Trading Operations & Settlements
• Support the end-to-end trading operations cycle, including deposits, withdrawals, trade bookings, and settlements.
• Process deposits and withdrawals accurately and on time.
• Coordinate with traders to identify and resolve booking or settlement issues.
• Support daily settlements with liquidity providers, prime brokers, exchanges, custodians, banks, and other trading venues.
• Help ensure settlements and open trades remain within established operational and risk parameters. Reconciliation & Controls
• Perform daily reconciliations across trading accounts and financial partners.
• Maintain accurate balance logs and identify reconciliation discrepancies.
• Support reconciliation of positions, inventory, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Escalate breaks or inconsistencies and work with the appropriate teams to resolve them.
• Maintain accurate records of trades, transactions, payments, deposits, and withdrawals. Reporting & Operational Support
• Prepare regular trading and counterpart reports, including End of Day (EOD) and End of Month (EOM) reporting.
• Support reporting on trading activity and relevant performance metrics.
• Respond to ad-hoc reporting, reconciliation, and documentation requests from internal teams and counterparts.
• Maintain organized and accurate operational records and documentation. Funding & Counterpart Support
• Support the funding of exchanges, liquidity providers, custodians, banks, and other venues based on trading requirements.
• Monitor balances and help ensure sufficient and accurate funding across venues.
• Communicate with counterparts regarding funding, settlement, reconciliation, and other operational inquiries.
• Work closely with internal teams to resolve issues efficiently and maintain smooth daily operations. Processes & Continuous Improvement
• Follow and maintain documented Trading Operations procedures and controls.
• Help identify opportunities to improve operational processes, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Support the team as new markets, venues, counterparties, and operational workflows are introduced. Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of professional experience, ideally in trading operations, financial operations, payments, banking, brokerage, or a related environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately with financial information.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
• Fluency in English and Spanish is a must.
• Ability to work collaboratively across Trading, Finance, Operations, and other teams. Preferred Qualifications
• Exposure to trade settlement, reconciliation, payments, or treasury processes.
• Experience working with financial institutions, brokers, exchanges, or trading platforms.
• Familiarity with digital assets, cryptocurrency, or blockchain technology.
• Interest in financial markets and trading operations.
