Purpose Statement
To support engineering design services, test development, and product commercialization while gaining hands-on exposure to both In-Circuit Testing (ICT) and Functional Circuit Testing (FCT) disciplines.
Key Job Accountabilities
• Dual-Track Learning & Support: Assists senior engineers in developing and validating basic test solutions, with cross-functional training across both ICT (component/bed-of-nails) and FCT (functional/system-level) domains.
• HW & SW Debugging: Utilizes lab instruments (multimeters, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers) and software diagnostics to isolate and troubleshoot fundamental hardware and software defects in test fixtures or PCBA designs.
• Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Applies basic problem-solving techniques to identify failure mechanisms during prototype and production testing.
• Basic Electronic Design: Assists in reading schematics, interpreting component datasheets, and contributing to basic circuit design, modifications, or test fixture breadboarding.
• Process Execution & Documentation: Executes assigned tasks following standard engineering and quality procedures; helps maintain accurate project documentation and revision logs. Education/Experience Qualifications
•
Education:
Recent graduate or candidate currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
•
Experience:
Recent university graduate with relevant coursework, academic projects, or lab experience. Other Qualifications
• Technical
Skills:
Basic understanding of analog/digital electronics, C/C++ or scripting languages (e.g., Python), and electronic lab equipment operation.
• Root Cause & Debugging: Foundational knowledge of systematic hardware/software troubleshooting techniques.
• Language Proficiency: Basic English proficiency (reading technical datasheets, writing technical logs, and basic spoken communication).
• Leadership & Soft
Skills:
Demonstrated experience leading school/capstone project teams, showing potential for project ownership, teamwork, and task coordination. This document does not represent a contract of employment and is not intended to capture every possible assignment the incumbent could be asked to perform.
