Role Description The Director of Education is a part-time, remote role responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of LingoLive’s learning programs. This role leads curriculum development to ensure content is pedagogically sound, engaging, and aligned with organizational goals. Day-to-day tasks include evaluating and creating courses, setting educational standards, collaborating with instructional designers and coaches, and monitoring learning outcomes and program effectiveness. The Director of Education partners with cross-functional teams to integrate educational best practices into product and service offerings, supports coach training and professional development, and maintains quality benchmarks across all learning experiences. This role also involves strategic planning for future programs, staying current with educational research, and using data to guide decisions about curriculum and program enhancements. Qualifications
• Strong background in Education and Educational Leadership, with experience guiding instructional vision and learning strategy.
• Demonstrated expertise in Curriculum Development, including designing structured, outcome-based learning experiences.
• Experience in Program Development, with a track record of launching, scaling, and refining educational or training programs.
• Coaching skills, including supporting instructor development, mentoring educators, and fostering continuous improvement.
• Proficiency in remote collaboration tools and comfort working with distributed teams across time zones.
• Ability to use data and learning analytics to evaluate program performance and inform decision-making.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly and inclusively.
• Advanced degree in Education, Instructional Design, Educational Leadership, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with adult learning, corporate training, or language and communication education is highly beneficial.
