About the Company
Our client runs a drug and alcohol consortium for trucking companies to help them comply with regulations.
Job Description
You will oversee the main compliance workflows for a drug and alcohol consortium. You will lead the team members who manage these processes daily. This includes managing random testing, renewals, and customer service for consortium members. Responsibilities of the role:
• Oversee random testing from selection to completion.
• Decide on refusals and report them to the FMCSA Clearinghouse.
• Keep the testing schedule moving and direct outreach.
• Manage renewals, including contacting past-due accounts.
• Recommend cancellations for accounts that are not renewed.
• Handle customer service inquiries via help desk tickets, texts, and voicemail.
• Maintain the driver pool.
• Manage new enrollments.
• Oversee SAP (return-to-duty) cases.
• Perform SAFER / carrier status checks. Required Experience and
Qualifications:
• Real experience leading a small operations team.
• Experience following regulated processes.
• Comfort making difficult compliance decisions.
• Experience working remotely. Preferred
Skills:
• Experience in DOT drug & alcohol regulations.
• Experience with drug and alcohol consortiums.
• Experience as a Third-Party Administrator (TPA).
• Experience in transportation compliance. Personality:
• You have a strong sense of follow-through. Software & Tools:
