We’re looking for a talented Analyst, Big Data Engineer to join the Intelligence and Data Solutions team in VCA for Latin America region, where you’ll collaborate with data experts to build and automate scalable data pipelines, operationalize analytics, and drive impactful business solutions. You’ll leverage cutting-edge tools to unify data and machine learning workflows, implement robust data quality frameworks, and develop powerful insights engines that fuel smarter decisions. Key Responsibilities

• Partner with data teams to operationalize analytics solutions and unlock business value.
• Automate and standardize workflows developed by data scientists.
• Leverage DevOps to create end-to-end streamline data apps and pipelines.
• Review and manage data pipelines, branching, and deployment process.
• Work with partners on requirements and implementation designs of data solutions.
• Implement data quality framework at scale using open-source technologies.
• Create data monitoring dashboards with real-time notifications.
• Understand VisaNet data and platform ecosystem to deploy fully automatic data applications.
• Unify data engineering and machine learning engineering pipelines.
• Apply spark optimization techniques to production jobs to accelerate data prep.
• Document process, designs, test results, and analysis in collaborative platforms.
• Ability to articulate complex architectures to non-technical audiences, management, and leadership.
• Continuously research industry best practices and technologies.
• Evangelize end to end automation and standardization across the organization.
• Partner with functional areas, and regional and global teams to leverage the breadth and depth of Visa’s resources.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Basic Qualifications
• 2+ years of relevant work experience and a Bachelors degree, OR 5+ years of relevant work experience
Preferred Qualifications
• 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
• Minimum of bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Qualification in Data Analytics, Data Engineering, or Computer Science.
• Total 3+ years of experience being data scientist/engineer or analytics consultant.
• Experience with complex, high volume, multi-dimensional data.
• Experience in financial services, or technology industries. Strong interest in the future of payments is a must.
• Outstanding problem-solving skills, with demonstrated ability to think creatively and tactically.
• Demonstrate curiosity, self-motivated, and result oriented, with the ability to managed multiple projects.
• Ability to learn new technology and paradigms as our industry continues to evolve at Visa and everywhere.
• Strong technical competency and experience with shell-scripting and Linux systems.
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline using Azure DevOps, GitHub actions, Jenkins, or Airflow.
• Strong coding skills in Spark, Python and SQL to manipulate big data in distributed platforms.
• Leverage Generative and Agentic AI and utilize REST APIs to connect data applications across the Visa ecosystem.
