The Strategic Business Developer – Automotive CAPEX & Industrial Projects is responsible for identifying, qualifying, and advancing high-value business opportunities linked to automotive investment, industrial expansion, and CAPEX-driven initiatives. The role focuses on building executive-level relationships with global OEMs, Tier suppliers, EPCs, and industrial integrators to generate a measurable pipeline of strategic opportunities across the Bajio and Western Mexico regions.

Workplace Type: Hybrid Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and prioritize automotive OEMs, Tier suppliers, EPCs, and industrial integrators with active or potential CAPEX initiatives.
  • Develop senior-level relationships to gain early visibility into investment plans, plant expansions, automation projects, and infrastructure requirements.
  • Use market intelligence tools, industry databases, trade networks, and digital prospecting platforms to generate qualified leads and strategic account insights.
  • Map decision-making ecosystems across multinational accounts including technical, financial, procurement, and executive stakeholders.
  • Translate market signals, project indicators, and customer priorities into actionable commercial opportunities and pipeline development plans.
  • Collaborate with internal sales, technical, and leadership teams to position the organization early in the customer investment cycle.
Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, industrial sales, or commercial roles within automotive, manufacturing, infrastructure, or investment-related sectors.
  • Proven ability to identify, qualify, and advance strategic opportunities through structured prospecting and stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong understanding of industrial investment cycles, CAPEX planning, automotive manufacturing operations, and regional market dynamics.
  • Advanced English communication skills, including executive writing, structured presentations, and cross-cultural business interaction.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Established network across key automotive and industrial hubs, including OEMs, Tier suppliers, EPCs, and industrial integrators.
  • Experience using LinkedIn, Alusha, Apollo, CRM platforms, industry databases, and professional networks for strategic prospecting.
  • Demonstrated success converting early-stage business signals into measurable pipeline, stakeholder access, or project participation.
