The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team plays a critical role in managing the financial health of Toss's various business domains. This position serves as a strategic business partner, deeply analyzing operational and financial data to support informed business decisions. Collaboration is crucial, as this role requires working closely with product and sales teams to assess key performance indicators (KPIs) and profitability metrics, as well as identifying practical issues that can be addressed with financial improvements. Key responsibilities include analyzing performance data, managing KPI frameworks, and responding to core financial issues within the organization. The role also involves closely aligning with core FP&A functions to ensure timely reporting and take an active part in resolving financial challenges across departments.
Key Responsibilities- Act as a strategic business partner by providing in-depth analysis of operational and financial data to support business decision-making.
- Analyze performance and manage KPI frameworks by identifying gaps in monthly and quarterly business results, and redesign reporting systems when necessary.
- Address critical issues within the business domain, including reviewing settlement structures and analyzing the financial impact of promotional activities.
- Collaborate with core FP&A to share domain performance and issues in line with corporate reporting schedules, actively participating in cross-department financial issue resolution.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in financial planning (FP&A), business planning, or management accounting.
- Strong analytical skills to identify real business challenges and issues through data exploration.
- Excellent communication skills for smooth and flexible interactions with business leaders and operational staff.
- High understanding of financial aspects within the electronic payment industry.
- Experience in managing and owning the P&L for a single business unit.
- Proficiency in SQL and Excel for data processing and automation tasks.
