Software Engineer (PostgreSQL) at BairesDev What You’ll Do

Design and develop custom PostgreSQL extensions to meet specific architectural and functional needs.
Optimize complex queries and database schemas to ensure maximum performance and resource efficiency.
Contribute to PostgreSQL internals and low-level optimizations to improve system reliability and throughput.
Develop and maintain sophisticated stored procedures and triggers using PL/pgSQL for advanced data logic.
Troubleshoot and resolve deep-seated database performance bottlenecks and architectural challenges.

What We Are Looking For

4+ years of experience in Software Engineering with a focus on database systems and PostgreSQL.
Proven expertise in developing and optimizing PostgreSQL extensions and PL/pgSQL.
Deep understanding of PostgreSQL internals, including storage engines and query planning.
Hands-on experience with advanced query optimization and performance tuning at scale.
Advanced proficiency in English.
