About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Tax Associate to join a fast-growing, high-performing team specializing in U.S. tax credits and incentives. This role is ideal for early-career professionals who want to deepen their expertise in R&D Tax Credits and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, client-facing environment.

You will play a key role in supporting end-to-end tax credit engagements, working closely with experienced professionals while contributing directly to client deliverables and project execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the preparation, analysis, and filing of U.S. tax credits and incentives, with a focus on R&D tax credits
  • Analyze client operations, financial data, and technical documentation to determine eligibility and calculate credits
  • Conduct research on federal and state tax regulations and incentive programs
  • Review, organize, and validate client-provided documentation and financial data
  • Prepare detailed workpapers, calculations, and supporting documentation
  • Manage multiple client engagements simultaneously while meeting deadlines
  • Collaborate with internal teams and maintain clear, professional communication with clients
  • Ensure compliance with internal processes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
  • 1+ year of experience in tax, public accounting, or tax advisory
  • Hands-on experience with tax returns and/or tax credits (R&D preferred)
  • Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and U.S. tax regulations
  • Ability to read and interpret financial statements
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Experience with tax research tools (e.g., CCH, BNA, Checkpoint, or similar)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Top 10 Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

  • Experience with tax credits (R&D Tax Credits preferred)
  • Knowledge of U.S. tax regulations and U.S. GAAP
  • Experience preparing tax returns
