Sr Supplier Quality Engineer

As a Sr Supplier Quality Engineer here at Honeywell, you will lead a team to ensure supplier quality, drive performance improvement, manage relationships, and ensure compliance with standards and regulations. You will report directly to our Quality Control Manager and you’ll work out of our Cd Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico location on a On-site work schedule.

As a Sr Supplier Quality Engineer here at Honeywell, you will lead a team to ensure supplier quality, drive performance improvement, manage relationships, and ensure compliance with standards and regulations. You will report directly to our Quality Control Manager and you’ll work out of our Cd Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico location on a On-site work schedule. As a Sr Supplier Quality Engineer here at Honeywell, you will lead a team of quality engineers to ensure that our suppliers meet Honeywell's quality standards and strategy in the manufacture of components. You will be responsible for driving supplier performance improvement, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring the highest level of quality in our supply chain. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact by managing the day-to-day activities of your team, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements. You will also be responsible for conducting supplier audits, performing root cause analysis, and driving corrective actions to address quality issues. • Drive supplier quality improvement initiatives to achieve world-class levels of quality
• Conduct supplier audits to assess capabilities and identify areas for improvement
• Perform root cause analysis and drive corrective actions to address quality issues and prevent recurrence

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
• GD&T experience
• ISO 9001:2015 Internal auditor certificate
• Advanced English Proficiency
• 6+ years of experience in supplier quality engineering or a related role
• Strong knowledge of quality engineering practices and methodologies
• Expertise in conducting supplier audits, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation to ensure supplier compliance and continuous improvement
• Proficiency with quality tools and techniques such as APQP, FMEA, SPC, and Six Sigma methodologies

• Advanced degree in Engineering or related field
• Experience leading supplier performance improvement initiatives
• Knowledge of industry quality standards and regulatory requirements
• Strong project management skills and ability to influence suppliers
• Continuous improvement mindset and experience with Lean methodologies
