Part Time Finance Director

Reporting to the General Manager Americas (or equivalent Finance Head), this role will lead the finance function, ensure strong financial governance, deliver strategic financial insight, and support sustainable business growth within a dynamic fresh produce export environment. The successful candidate will be a commercially astute finance leader with strong technical expertise, exceptional analytical skills, and a proven ability to lead teams and drive continuous improvement. Key Performance Outputs Financial Planning, Budgeting & Reporting Lead annual budgeting and forecasting processes Review financial dashboards, management reports and cash flow analyses Analyse financial performance and identify opportunities to improve profitability Review monthly reconciliations and management accounts Monitor budget performance and investigate variances Facilitate annual external audits and support internal audit requirements Conduct financial evaluations and feasibility assessments for new projects Cash Flow & Treasury Management Manage daily, weekly and monthly cash flow requirements Develop and maintain cash flow forecasts Maintain relationships with banks and treasury partners Ensure reconciliations are completed accurately and on time Oversee grower settlements and related financial controls Grower Accounting & Producer Finance Oversee grower accounting and settlement processes Review grower statements, reconciliations and pool accounting calculations Finance Team Leadership Lead, coach and develop the finance team Review management accounts and variance analyses Governance, Compliance & Tax Corporate Tax Working knowledge of tax environments in Mexico, the USA and Peru will be advantageous Enhance reporting automation and business intelligence capabilities Support ERP implementation, upgrades and optimisation projects Improve process efficiency and financial data integrity Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce Professional Accounting Qualification such as CA(SA), CPA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent will be advantageous 8–10 years' experience in finance, accounting, or financial management roles ~ Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior finance leadership position ~ Proven experience managing month-end, year-end and audit processes ~ Experience working with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) ~ Advanced Microsoft Excel skills ~ Financial & Management Accounting Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Cash Flow Management Internal Controls & Governance Audit Management Tax Compliance Grower & Pool Accounting ERP Systems Advanced Excel and Power BI KPI Performance Reporting Exceptional planning and organisational ability This is an excellent opportunity for a strategic finance professional to play a key leadership role in a growing international fresh produce business.
