The Buyer/Planner plays a critical role in managing a high volume of requisitions for materials and services on a daily basis, while supporting the Supply Chain operations in production planning, strategic sourcing, and supplier relationship management. Please Submit Resumes in English to be considered*** Procure materials, supplies, capital equipment and services for all functional areas Receive requisitions and check each item for quantity, specifications, and delivery requirements Develop and investigate supply sources. May issue request for quotations, proposals, or bids for those items not covered by any existing purchasing arrangement. Work under general supervision with latitude for independent judgement May consult with senior peers on certain projects Continually work to drive down procurement costs and increase margins Create and supply purchasing forecasts to vendors as required Familiarity with an ERP system, preferably SAP or Microsoft Navision Ability to independently prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects with competing priorities and deadlines Bachelor's degree preferred, preferably in supply chain or business management
