Role - Technical Program Manager – Applied AI Scrum Team

Location - Mexico City (Hybrid – 3 days in office)

Reports to - Applied AI Leadership / works with Product function

Experience:

8+ years, incl. program/delivery management of technical teams

Role Summary:

The TPM drives execution of the product roadmap for the autonomous Scrum team – defining the plan, exit criteria and deliverables, and keeping delivery on track across dependencies, risks and stakeholders. This person keeps the team aligned to roadmap priorities and global market-expansion goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the delivery roadmap, sprint planning cadence, milestones and exit criteria for the team.
  • Coordinate cross-team dependencies, risks and blockers; drive them to resolution.
  • Partner with the Technical Lead and Product function to translate roadmap into executable plans.
  • Track and report progress, metrics and delivery status to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and continuously improve team velocity and predictability.
  • Support scaling of the product across geographies aligned to the market-expansion roadmap.

Must-Have Skills

  • Proven technical program / delivery management of software engineering teams.
  • Strong grasp of Agile / Scrum and modern cloud-native SDLC (CI/CD, microservices).
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication and risk/dependency management.
  • Ability to define exit criteria, metrics and deliverables and hold the team accountable.

Nice to Have/Not Required (If have it will be a Plus)

  • Experience delivering AI / GenAI or data-platform products.
  • Fintech / payments domain background; experience scaling products across markets.
  • Comfortable operating in a fully autonomous team that owns delivery end-to-end.
  • Strong fundamentals in the relevant discipline and a good culture fit – collaborative, ownership-driven and outcome-focused.
  • Able to work in a cloud-agnostic environment (Azure today, expanding to AWS).
  • Hybrid working – 3 days per week from the Mexico City office, with emphasis on in-person collaboration during the early build phase.
  • Clear communication and the ability to move fast without compromising engineering quality.
