Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Import Export Analyst located in Juarez South. Reporting to the Import/Export Supervisor, the Traffic Logistics Manager role involves Importation and exportation activities, customs documentation, logistics coordination, track and trace, reporting, among other activities.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for ensuring productivity, efficiency, and management of various logistics operations.
  • These operations may include, but are not limited to, tracking product shipments, creation of more efficient logistical planning, and coordination of shipments.
  • Recommend improvements to existing or planned logistics processes.
  • Prepare reports on logistics, import and export performance measures.
  • Write or revise standard operating procedures for logistics processes.
  • Confer with logistics management teams to define ways to optimize service levels, maintain supply-chain efficiency, or minimize cost.
  • Track and trace of shipments.
  • Contact carriers for schedules, deliveries and reports.
  • Communicate with or monitor service providers, such as ocean carriers, air freight forwarders, global consolidators, customs brokers, or trucking companies.
  • Reorganize shipping schedules to consolidate loads, maximize vehicle usage, or limit the movement of empty vehicles or containers.
  • May international and domestic rate quotes per request by site management.
  • May prepare rate comparisons between carriers.
  • Track international shipments and may track domestic shipments.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Intermediate – English.
  • A background in Manufacturing Import and Export Area.
  • General knowledge of Mexican and US customs.
  • Experience managing carriers.
  • General knowledge of warehouse cycle operations is desired.
  • Intermediate Excel skills.
  • Draw Brack Basic Knowledge.
  • Communication skills, shipment monitoring.
