About the Role

Our client, a growing transportation and logistics company, is seeking an experienced and highly organized Coordinador de Flota y Logística to oversee operations in the Acapulco, Guerrero area. This pivotal role involves managing a fleet of vehicles, optimizing delivery routes, ensuring compliance with transportation regulations, and maintaining effective communication between drivers, clients, and management. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of logistics software, and the ability to problem-solve under pressure. Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate the daily operations of the vehicle fleet.
• Plan and optimize delivery routes to ensure maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Monitor driver performance and adherence to schedules and company policies.
• Ensure all vehicles are properly maintained, serviced, and compliant with safety regulations.
• Utilize logistics software to track shipments, manage inventory, and generate reports.
• Liaise with clients to confirm delivery details and address any concerns.
• Manage and train dispatch staff and drivers.
• Analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
• Ensure compliance with all local and national transportation laws and regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in fleet management and logistics coordination.
• Proven experience with logistics software and route optimization tools.
• Strong understanding of transportation regulations and safety standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
• Experience in problem-solving and conflict resolution.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Residency in or near Acapulco, Guerrero , and ability to work a hybrid schedule.
