  • Perform detailed heat transfer calculations and simulations using computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and finite element analysis (FEA) software.
  • Develop and validate thermal models to predict system performance under various operating conditions.
  • Select appropriate materials and manufacturing processes for thermal components, considering thermal conductivity, cost, and manufacturability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers and system architects, to integrate thermal solutions seamlessly.
  • Design and oversee experimental testing to validate simulation results and product performance.
  • Troubleshoot thermal issues and develop effective solutions for complex engineering problems.
  • Stay current with the latest advancements in heat transfer technology and thermal management techniques.
  • Prepare comprehensive technical reports, presentations, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the overall technical growth of the team in a remote setting.

Requirements

  • Master's or Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Thermodynamics or Heat Transfer.
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in thermal design and analysis, preferably in challenging environments (e.g., aerospace, electronics, energy).
  • Expert proficiency in thermal analysis software (e.g., ANSYS Fluent/CFX, COMSOL Multiphysics).
  • Strong theoretical foundation in conduction, convection, and radiation heat transfer.
  • Experience with thermal testing methodologies and instrumentation.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently, manage projects, and meet deadlines in a remote work environment.
  • Outstanding communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in distributed teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and guide junior engineering staff.

Benefits
