About the Opportunity

We are seeking a high-energy, results-driven B2B Business Development Manager to join our GTC team based in Mexico City (Polanco). The Global Trade Card (GTC) organization is responsible for managing a robust suite of USD B2B payment solutions designed to help clients optimize payments to suppliers overseas. The B2B Sales Consultant grows the customer base through face-to-face interactions with new and existing prospect customers. This role requires an innovative self-starter who understands the B2B Trade finance landscape, has a centric focus on addressing customer needs, works with limited supervision and teamworks with multiple stakeholders across several countries.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Drive profitable B2B Cross-border charge volume and revenue growth by using in-depth knowledge of the Trade Finance business and Global Trade;
  • Identify/Qualify B2B X-border payment leads both individually and in partnership with marketing;
  • Effectively manage a portfolio of B2B Clients ensuring top level servicing and business expansion;
  • Work with internal partners to prioritize and act with a sense of urgency for in-demand B2B Clients;
  • Develop comprehensive opportunity sizing, business cases and strategic analysis as needed;
  • Partner with US Keo Central marketing to develop acquisition strategies/activities;
  • Drive Pipeline velocity with strong focus on large/profitable Cross-border payment deals;
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on Cross-border payments for Clients and Peers;
  • Actively work with the US COE to drive/ensure merchant coverage;
  • Conduct tracking and reporting sales performance including pipeline and acquisition results;
  • Drive the onboarding of new customers and initiate spend enablement activities.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree;
  • At least 5 years of experience in Trade Finance or B2B Finance Sales;
  • Demonstrate executive presence internally and externally, with the ability to confidently lead Senior/C-level discussions to influence client decision- making and drive timely results required;
  • Highly developed communication skills with ability to tailor messages to different audiences;
  • Strong relationship building skills with ability to influence all levels in a matrix organization;
  • Experience in Corporate Sales;
  • Quantitative, Financial research and problem-solving skills;
  • Knowledge of Trade Finance and Foreign Exchange (Preferred);
  • Knowledge of Customer Procurement processes and Cross-border payment solutions;
  • Ability to work collaboratively across a wide variety of external and internal partners required;
  • Demonstrated analytical and creative problem-solving skills and proven financial acumen;
  • Familiarity with financial statements is required;
  • Comfort working independently with significant ambiguity;
  • Solid foundation in Microsoft Office Suite;
  • Ability to fluently communicate in English (Preferred).
