The Job:As a Test Design Engineer, you’ll be part of our MTC Monterrey team working as an on-site employee.
You’ll get to:
* Lead Rig & Fixture Team
* Communicate technical topics/ projects on the global basis
* Must be flexible and adapt to changing departmental priorities.
* Initial assignment is development of power tool test fixtures & equipment.
* Follow scrap Process
* Follow Materials & storage
* Highly motivated individual provides test support to the new product development & development to value projects.
* Develop advanced electric-mechanical test fixture/equipment for various power tool testing, focus on Electrical and Electronic development, HMI and PLC programming, Labview programming
* Design the control system for robot, focus on PLC and robot interface design and programming.
* To be responsible for trouble shooting and maintenance for FSTC reliability test equipment
* Execute routine calibration for all FSTC equipment/ meters, focus on electric parameters
* Communicate technical topics/ projects on the global basis
* Prepare and modify other documents as required to support the Test Systems Group and Main Test Lab.
* Must be flexible and adapt to changing departmental priorities.
* Initial assignment is development of power tool test fixtures & equipment.
* Plans, schedules and coordinates advanced test fixture systems, also focus on electrical fixtures, rigs development and has strong capability to harmonize the PLC and Labview programming and electric
* Writes and upgrades technical procedures maintained in the technical database at B&D intranet.
* Windchill skills
* BOM interpretation
* Drawing interpretation

You also have:
* 1-2 years minimum working experience in electrical & mechanical automation equipment operation or maintenance/repairing.
* Must be a self-starter working with a minimum of supervision.
* Must have a strong background in PLC programming, labview programming and electric or electronic design.
* Good communication skills preferred
* College degree above, major in Electrical or Mechanical degree.
* 3 Ability to use standard electrical and mechanical measuring instruments.
* Ability to work with verbal directions and written procedures.
