About the Role

AtNOVACARD, we're looking for aLegal Contracts & Corporate Affairs Analystto support NOVAPLAZO and our growing operations in Mexico.

You will work acrosscommercial contracting, corporate affairs, AML/KYC compliance, and financial regulation, partnering with Operations, Finance, Product, Commercial, and other teams.

What You'll Do

Contracts & Corporate Affairs

  • Review, negotiate, and formalizemerchant, supplier, and commercial agreements, including NDAs.

  • Review key clauses related to data protection, intellectual property, confidentiality, liability, and termination.

  • Manage contract documentation, version control, signatures, and corporate files.

  • Supportshareholder meetings, powers of attorney, corporate records, and filingsbefore the RPC and SAT.

  • Coordinate corporate matters with notaries, financial institutions, and internal stakeholders.

Compliance & Legal Support

  • SupportAML/KYC complianceunder LFPIORPI and applicable regulations.

  • Review and validate customer and corporate documentation.

  • Support monthly notices and reporting before theUIF.

  • Assist with regulatory matters involvingBanxico, CONDUSEF, PROFECO, and other relevant authorities.

  • Provide day-to-day legal support to Operations, Product, Commercial, and Finance teams.

What We're Looking For

  • Law degree (Licenciatura en Derecho)and valid Mexican professional license (cédula profesional).

  • At least3 years of relevant professional experience in sector.

  • Experience incommercial contracts and corporate law.

  • Knowledge of Mexican corporate and commercial regulations.

  • Knowledge ofAML regulations (LFPIORPI)and KYC processes.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and legal writing skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple legal matters and deadlines simultaneously.

  • Intermediate to advanced English.

Nice to Have

  • Experience infintech, financial services, acquiring, payments, or regulated industries.

  • Knowledge offinancial regulation and data protection (LFPDPPP).

  • Experience with electronic signature and document management platforms.

  • Postgraduate studies in Corporate, Financial, or Regulatory Law.
