About the Role

Our client, a leading industrial manufacturer, is seeking an experienced Projects Manager for Automation and Operational Efficiency to join their team in Puebla, Puebla . This role is critical for driving continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities for automation, and optimizing operational processes across the organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in industrial engineering, operations management, project management, and a deep understanding of automation technologies. You will lead cross-functional teams to implement solutions that enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve overall efficiency. Key Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate opportunities for process automation and operational efficiency improvements.
• Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of automation and efficiency projects.
• Develop project scope, objectives, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements.
• Manage project teams, including engineers, technicians, and external vendors.
• Implement and oversee the integration of automation technologies (e.g., robotics, software automation).
• Analyze operational data to identify bottlenecks and areas for optimization.
• Develop and implement performance metrics to track the impact of improvement initiatives.
• Ensure projects adhere to safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Facilitate change management processes to ensure smooth adoption of new technologies and processes.
• Provide regular project updates and reports to senior management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in operations management, industrial engineering, or project management, with a strong focus on automation and process improvement.
• Proven track record of successfully implementing automation solutions and driving significant operational efficiency gains.
• In-depth knowledge of industrial automation technologies, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and process optimization methodologies.
• Strong project management skills, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills.
• Experience with ERP systems and relevant automation software.
• Familiarity with the automotive or manufacturing sectors is a plus.
• Must have legal authorization to work in Mexico.
