Be part of R&D vehicle development, QCT (Quality, Cost and Time) management for Plastic injection and Thermoforming parts development with high excellence on engineering skills and accountability of each duty to create value and overachieve customers’ expectations.
Job Responsibilities
Engineering changes leadership: Study and execute design changes achieving cost, time, quality and performance required Manage Plastic & Thermoforming system development on new vehicle projects from digital stages, physical stages until model year launch ensuring part performance achievement. Lead Value Optimization activities with Supplier. Analyze ideas, prepare and execute developent plan until adoption and adjust activities to ensure keeping plan timing. Lead quality improvement activities by analyzing warranty data, study incident parts and define countermeasures and action plans supporting project achivement KPIS 3MIS US / 3MIS MEX / 12MIS MEX QCT management as Supervisor / Leader of team. Able to function as Supervisor for a small team. Provide clear guide to team members. Able to create / propose plans/ strategy to achieve team goals.
Education:
Engineering Degree (Mechanical, Mechatronic, Automotive or alike)
Previous work experience:
Must in R&D Interior plastic parts development. Full. Minor Model Change vehicle launch.
Required knowledge:
• Must to have: Knowledge of manufacturing processes (Plastic injection, Thermoforming, Painting, Chroming, etc.).
Engineering analysis for decision making with strong technical, logical and facts based thinking using academic and industry experience.
• Explanation of detailed technical information to several audiences (Spanish/English) with clear message.
Language:
English /TOEIC Certification (> 750Pts.)- Business fluent
Computer skills:
CAD software skills (NX preferably).
Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point, Outlook).
Skills:
Leadership to coordinate, facilitate and participate in collaborative approach to the completion of task and projects on time.
Able to make plans and strategy for each project from actual status to completion. Execute and adjust accordingly to keep timing and avoid delays.
Project management of resources, activities, risks and quality controls
High sense of urgency and ownership

Negotiating solutions and agreements among different parties
Proactive, Learner Sense, Adaptability to changes in circumstances, work based on objectives, team work mindset
Availability to travel:
Local & International
Must have: Availability to work in hybrid scheme (3 days HO / 2 days in Office at least; however depending on project needs, may require full time in Office @ Toluca).
