Job description

As a junior buyer, you will closely follow the implementation of the ongoing investment projects. You will support both Mexico and United States teams. Your main missions will be:

Follow the worldwide purchasing strategies for the commodity under your responsibility according to the division needs and implement them in the region Develop technical knowledge (costs understanding, market awareness on your commodities, interact with relevant network such as operations, industrial, KHC, experts, …) Build cost models and standard documents Manage and execute the kickoff meetings to present the program scope, planning, technical perimeter, risks, and opportunities and lessons learned from previous projects. To send RFQ documents, organize pre sourcing, sourcing, and nomination according to Capex targets Recommend the sourcing choices according to the plant, project needs and strategy Monitor suppliers and ensure the follow up of budget of the project and alert in case of gaps Organize cash in and cash out management Participate supporting the CAPEX commodity buyer in OMEGA initiative projects. Able to follow and ensure the usage of internal procedures ref. to purchasing métier, safety, and environment.

Profile

You are a highly motivated graduate from a recognized engineering school or university. As part of your studies, you have already undertaken an international curriculum (e.g., one semester or year outside your home country).

You are a team player, a self-learner and have demonstrated some leadership. You have knowledge in Business, Supply Chain and Purchasing.

You are open minded and with a serious desire to learn, as well as a clear willingness to embark on an international career. You are organized and capable of working under pressure.

Your English and Spanish are fluent.
