Prime Video LATCANZ Local Originals

This role will be the single-threaded owner of all paid media channels, including TV, OOH, digital, social and programmatic. The person in this role will be a highly analytical and results-oriented leader scaling growth initiatives by working across both regional and local Prime Video teams, influencing product and tech roadmaps, driving measurement and tooling improvements, and partnering with brand and content marketing teams to deliver against their campaign objectives in the most efficient and effective manner.
A successful candidate for this role will have experience managing internal teams and agencies across multiple territories to drive acquisition marketing. They will design their team to find scale efficiencies across the region while tailoring media strategies to address the nuances of each country. They will drive innovation and deepen strategic partnership with key media players across the region. They will develop processes and infrastructure to improve speed and accuracy of media planning and optimization, and standardize ways of working across territories and channels.
Key job responsibilities
-Develop a strong and diverse team and fosters effective collaboration with other areas across Amazon
-Establish performance goals being accountable for business performance within their campaigns scope (subscribers, retention, cost)
-Define team structure and mechanisms for efficiency and scale
-Develop agency relationships and 3P partners to deliver against Prime Video goals while maintaining a high bar for operational excellence, innovation and ROI.
-Manage marketing budget and allocations to deliver on business goals
-Remove roadblocks for team (internal, external), working with peers and senior leaders.
-Collaborate across local content strategy and sports teams to acquire and engage priority audience segments in LATCANZ countries
-Input into roadmaps and prioritization with tech, product and analytics teams to support team goals
This role will require up to 30% travel, with direct reports based in Mexico City, Miami, and Sao Paulo with stakeholders in LA and Seattle.

Prime Video is changing the way people watch movies and TV shows, offering multiple ways to instantly stream and watch videos. Our mission is to build the widest selection of digital video content and make it trivially easy for customers to enjoy great content wherever and whenever they want. To achieve this mission, the media marketing team works to find effective and scalable ways to acquire, engage and retain customers across all points in the consumer journey.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 8+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience- Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams
- Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Fluency in English and Spanish
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience managing remote teams.- Experience working across multiple territories, preference for expertise in LATAM, Canada and Australia.
- Excellent communication skills honed to develop thoughtful, strategic and detailed written narratives.
