Looking for a role where you can showcase your expertise in payroll and benefits management?

We're seeking a dedicated Accounting Analyst to join our dynamic team in Mexico City. This is an excellent opportunity for you to assist in all financial activities related to processing all financial requirements, payroll, payments, taxes, and work documents, used to verify accountant authentication. You will also be accountable for ensuring timely and accurate delivery and accounting of salaries, wages, and incentive payments, as well as the processing of statutory obligations.

About the role

Compile and submit payroll data, including extra hours, absences, bonuses, time off, insurance plans, and deductions to ADP. Ensure accurate payment to all employees, covering bonuses, pensions, and payroll. Prepare salaries and benefits budgets and calculate monthly intercompany recharges. Prepare balance sheet reconciliations for payroll, payroll taxes, employee benefits, and business partners. Control and prepare tax returns for payroll taxes, social security, and local taxes. Record payroll and accruals for bonuses, actuarial calculations, and other benefits. Support auditors with payroll working papers and reconcile payroll with electronic documents (CFDI). Record journal entries and fund travel expense cards for CBO and Editorial departments. Create and upload TB Balance in SAP Andes, and prepare balance sheet reconciliations for Andes regions. Prepare budgets and forecasts for Southern Cone and Andes regions, fund Andes Rep Offices, and manage budget process OPEX templates. Support internal audits for Southern Cone and Andes regions, and ensure compliance with controls, policies, and procedures.

About you

Accounting bachelor's degree + years of relevant accounting experience with an emphasis on accounting and control Travel expenses and Payroll Process, plus SAP experience. Advanced MS Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Exceptional analytical skills, detail-oriented mindset, and a high sense of urgency Proven ability to work to tight deadlines, and deal with multiple tasks simultaneously. Self-starter, detail oriented, critical thinker, with ability to work with minimal supervision. Strong customer service & stakeholder management skills English Level B.
