About the role

This role will employ a broad variety of data science skills, all with the aim of creating a fantastic product for home sellers to joyfully and efficiently sell .

Proactively conduct hypothesis-focused deep dives and explorations to understand the seller journey and experience with Zillow Group products

Design and execute experiments (ex: A/B tests) that measure impact of product changes. Frame experimentation problems, both statistically and within the business and customer context

Present customer insights, metric development, testing methodologies, and experimentation results to technical and non-technical partners

Identify and size whitespace opportunities for this nascent and fast growing product

Work with engineering teams to improve data collection procedures to ensure integrity and quality of the data

Realizar proactivamente inmersiones y exploraciones profundas centradas en hipótesis para comprender el recorrido del vendedor y la experiencia con los productos de Zillow Group.

Diseñar y ejecutar experimentos (por ejemplo: pruebas A/B) que miden el impacto de los cambios en el producto. Enmarcar problemas de experimentación, tanto estadísticamente como dentro del contexto empresarial y del cliente.

Presentar conocimientos de los clientes, desarrollo de métricas, metodologías de prueba y resultados de experimentación a socios técnicos y no técnicos.

Identificar y dimensionar oportunidades de espacios en blanco para este producto incipiente y de rápido crecimiento.

Trabajar con equipos de ingeniería para mejorar los procedimientos de recopilación de datos para garantizar la integridad y calidad de los datos.

This role has been categorized as a teleworker position. Teleworkers do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice which must be identified to the Company. Employees may live in any part of Mexico, but preferably in Mexico City, as we would encourage attendance for occasional in-office events.

In addition to a competitive base salary and benefits, this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location.

Possesses either an undergraduate or Master's degree in a quantitative field (e.g. mathematics, finance, statistics, or similar) or confirmed experience within data science and analytics

3+ years of work experience involving quantitative data analysis and complex problem solving

Excellent communication skills with the ability to distill complex issues and detailed analysis into simple, structured frameworks with concrete action plans

Experience building statistical models to yield insights from complex user journeys

Strong proficiency in Python and/or another programming language; experience using SQL, Tableau, and Excel

Experience in experimentation methodologies and causal inferences

Strong product sense

Excelentes habilidades de comunicación con la capacidad de sintetizar cuestiones complejas y análisis detallados en marcos simples y estructurados con planes de acción concretos.

Experiencia en la creación de modelos estadísticos para generar información sobre recorridos complejos de los usuarios.
