As a QTO Engineer, you will play an important role in the construction and engineering of complex projects that make a difference in people's lives. Kiewit Mexico offers a variety of services in markets including transportation, oil, gas, and chemical, power, building, water/wastewater, industrial, and mining.

Responsibilities
  • Estimate material quantities and costs for various phases of the construction project.
  • Review and analyze construction plans and specifications.
  • Develop and maintain project cost estimates utilizing estimating software.
  • Coordinate with construction team and clients to update estimates as necessary.
  • Assist in the development of project budgets and schedules.
  • Evaluate subcontractor and supplier proposals for completeness and accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance of estimates with company and industry standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • 1 year of experience in quantity takeoff and cost estimating.
  • Familiarity with construction plans, specifications, codes, and standards.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Upper Intermediate English B2.
