The role supports coordination between the Purchasing function and platform teams (engineering / manufacturing / supply chain) for the development and serial production of vehicles. This includes responsibility of a dedicated perimeter, supporting the purchasing team during supplier selection, managing suppliers, coordinating multidisciplinary teams during project development, c­arrying out supplier relationships, and ensuring appropriate actions to guarantee observance of contracts.

ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION

·Supplier kick-off after supplier award is confirmed

·Negotiate potential volume increases during development

·Control and negotiate the impact of changes during development, with a focus on economic negotiations and timing

·Final Start of Production price release, including project changes notices

·Detect troubled suppliers and potential shortages then follow up with stakeholders to support escalation

·­Support Supplier Quality teams to meet capacity and quality convergence targets

·Lead summary meetings with suppliers and key internal stakeholders

·Wok with cross functional specialty teams to manage negotiations

Achieve Total Production Cost TargetsNegotiate Quality Cost technical performance terms and Engineering ChangesGuarantee the Supplier Tool Kick offOpen or obtain the orders at the right timeAchieve the Final Price targets according to the project needsMonitor prices and supplier’s capacities during development phase Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain Management, IT, or related fields3 years of experience in purchasing or other disciplines that require significant negotiation and/or exposure to sourcing/project management processesAbility to demonstrate past results achievement and leadership skills while working in cross-functional teamsStrong written and verbal communication skillsMust be comfortable interfacing with all levels of managementSelf-motivatedAbility to lead and take ownership of projectsAbility to adapt to urgent requests
