As an engineer at Lyft, you'll collaborate with teams like product, data science, analytics, and operations on code that empower us to iterate quickly, while focusing on delighting our passengers and drivers.
Responsibilities:
Be part of an inclusive, collaborative team that embraces pairing, healthy discussions and supports each other in their goalsCollaborate with cross functional teams on new and emerging technologies, determining how they will integrate into current and evolving infrastructureUnblock, support and effectively communicate cross functionally in order to achieve resultsHelp define the team roadmap and architecture based on technology and business needsEvangelize appropriate tech and engineering best practices, and occasionally give internal or external tech talksLeave the code in a better state than when you found it (progressive refactor)Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and distribute knowledgeGo home knowing that your work today is meaningfully improving the lives of every Lyft driver and riderExperience:
Must have 4+ years of software engineering industry experienceAdvanced knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, and HTMLExperience working with modern JavaScript frameworks, like ReactFamiliarity with PythonExperience working with NodeJS and Express applicationsExperience working with design systems (e.g. Bootstrap, Salesforce Lightning, GitHub Primer)Experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testingExperience working cross-functionally with Product and DesignGood understanding of web performance and how browsers and DOM workThis role will be in-office on a hybrid schedule if an established Lyft Location is available to the Mexico City region — Hybrid Team Members will be expected to work in the office 3 days per week on Mondays, Thursdays and a team-specific third day. Additionally, hybrid roles have the flexibility to work from anywhere for up to 4 weeks per year. #Hybrid

+4 Años de expedición en industria de Desarrollo de SoftwareConocimiento avanzado de JavaScript, CSS y HTMLExperiencia trabajando con frameworks modernos de JavaScript como ReactConocimiento de PythonExperiencia trabajando con aplicaciones en NodeJS y ExpressExperiencia trabajando con sistemas de diseño (ej. Bootstrap, Salesforce Lightning, GitHub Premier)Experiencia con pruebas unitarias, de integración y end-to-endExperiencia trabajando con equipos interfuncionales de Producto y DiseñoBuen entendimiento de desempeño web y como funcionan distintos navegadores y DOMEste puesto se realizará en la oficina en un horario híbrido si una ubicación de Lyft establecida está disponible en la región de la Ciudad de México. Se espera que los miembros del equipo híbrido trabajen en la oficina 3 días a la semana, los lunes, jueves y un tercer día específico para el equipo. Además, los roles híbridos tienen la flexibilidad de trabajar desde cualquier lugar durante 4 semanas al año.
