Job Description:
- Analyzing and understanding complex data sets
- Developing and maintaining data pipelines and ETL processes
- Designing and implementing optimized data storage solutions
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop data-related solutions
- Ensuring data quality and accuracy
- Troubleshooting and resolving data-related issues
- Participating in the development and documentation of best practices and standards
- Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data engineering
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala
- Experience with data modeling and database design
- Familiarity with ETL tools and data integration processes
- Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and techniques
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities
