AbouttheRole:

Join the Digital Automotive Manufacturing Team to implement the HARMAN Future Digital Factory. Be an active part of a global team to develop and improve our state-of-the-art hybrid Industry 4.0 platform in cooperation with local and global Business and Operations teams.

What you will do:

Design, implement and operateIndustry 4.0 solutions. 

Implement full-life-cycledevelopmentprojects and softwareproducts in a crossfunctionalteamof IT, Manufacturing Engineering and Operations and set global standards.

Ensure Enterprise IT Standards with focus on sustainability, scalability, high availability, security, and performance.

Work withlocalteamstoextendthe global solutiontosupport localrequirements.

Providetrainingto key users and do knowledge transfer to IT colleagues.

Support theplatform and tools on Level 3.

What you need:

Bachelor’sdegree in IT or a relatedfieldor relevant experience.

5+ yearsofworkexperience in Software DevelopmentObject Oriented)

Deep understandingoftheIndustry 4.0concepts and technologies

Experience in usingMS Azure and theknowledgeofthe relevant componentsfor Industrial IoT

Experience working with and managing Big Data (time series and structured)

Global mindset, teamwork in a multi-location team, enterpriseapproach

Problem-solvingmindset

ExcellentEnglish languageskills (Professional Working Proficiency)

What is an advantage:

Experience in usingtheOPC-UA protocol.

Experience inDatabases, especiallyInfluxDB, PostgreSQL and Oracle

Experience in using Enterprise Message Queues

Familiarity with analytics tools (e.g.Grafana, Qlik)
