Firmware Engineer

Global leading company in the design and manufacturing of high precision energy and engineering.

• Participate in all phases of the Firmware development life cycle.
• Responsible for research, design, and development of computer software systems.
• Apply comprehensive knowledge of power electronics and controls design.
• Develop and evaluate interfaces between hardware and software.
• Develop software test procedures, software programs and related documentation.
• Validate the cost and scope of software efforts to ensure software.
• Develop C++ Applications on embedded Systems including FPGAs and SOCs.
• Implement advanced software development techniques in compliance with technical reference architecture.
• Participate in on-going code reviews to improve software stability.
• Perform technical review, design analysis, development and selection of hardware.

• 5 years of valid experience in embedded firmware/software engineering.
• More than 5 years of highly specialized experience in terms of programming.
• Advanced experience in C or C++.
• Experience in hands-on development and troubleshooting on embedded targets.
• Advanced English.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

• Location: Mexicali, Baja California.
• Salary: $40,000 to $50,000
