Layout Engineer

In your day to day activities, you’ll work with multiple customers, as a consultant and trusted partner in Sandalwood’s areas of expertise of Injury Prevention, Systems Engineering & Systems Integration. You’ll help customers innovate, solve their current struggles and guide them with the power of Sandalwood’s deeply ingrained subject matter expertise.

We're currently looking for a Informatics Engineer to join our growing team of engineering and ergonomics professionals. Details about the role are as follows.-

Requirements

Tasks assigned / Work priorities:

• Design and interpretation of AutoCAD drawings, at high level
• Autodesk software knowledge: AutoCAD, Revit, Autodesk 3D MAX, Rhinoceros, etc.
• Process of distribution external and internal space of the installation drawn on a plan
• Analysis of use of spaces and workflows
• General knowledge of the construction process and civil work
• Delivery of plans projects and analysis of required alternatives
• General principles and practice of engineering knowledge
• Ability to develop ideas and innovate for the improvement of the company
• Analysis capacity & management of new technologies in the design area
• Multidisciplinary knowledge: Process, Material Handling, Financial, Design, Safety and Metrology.

Skills / Abilities:

• Work under pressure and stress management
• Be creative, critical, resourceful, innovative and have an interest in proposing solutions to specific problems.
• Work team ability
• Ability to manage personnel, treatment of suppliers and contractors

Professional Experience / required knowledge:

• Industrial work experience
• Technical English and communication skills
• Minimum 2-year experience in Automotive Industry area.
• English language at Medium - advanced level
