The Data Quality Manager helps data sourced and provisioned by different areas, meets all required data quality standards. The Data Quality Manager will oversee a team to assess, evaluate, and analyze data challenges and provide recommendations on their resolution. They will collaborate with an array of teams and groups, developing subject matter expertise and knowledge of industry practices and standards.
Responsibilities:
Perform supervisory activities of individuals including duties such as performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary actions, and/or termination Provide oversight and guidance to employees to enhance their data quality, analysis and reporting processes Drive data quality resolution strategies and practices Lead data improvement initiatives in compliance with Citi Data Governance Policy Liaise with other areas of the firm to understand data challenges and solutions, perform financial reconciliation, and measure Data Quality to drive data quality resolution Define and formulate business requirements documents Optimize metrics reporting process; Perform analysis to test hypotheses and size opportunities, and/or oversee efforts for Data consumption demand and Data requirement from strategic data repositories Lead project management activities Support senior management strategic vision by developing and recommending solutions to address issues and capture opportunities Present findings/analysis and make recommendations to senior management Identify critical data elements, Data Quality rules, thresholds, and other business requirements Report Data Quality issues through Citi’s corresponding Data/Issue management process Lead project management efforts that support the design and process improvement projects across the enterprise Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable rules, laws, and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgement regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating managing and reporting control issues with transparencyQualifications:
5-8 years of relevant experience defining and implementing Data Quality programs; 5 + years of experience in Data Management; Banking or Finance industry preferred. 5+ years of management or supervisory experience required Proven ability to provide in-depth and sophisticated analysis with interpretive thinking to define problems and develop innovative solutions Anticipates and balances the needs of multiple stakeholders, while monitoring tight deadlines or unexpected requirement changes Communicates effectively in non-technical terms at all levels of the organization Collaborates effectively by building partnerships and working well with others to meet shared objectives Proficient in the use of basic Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Proficient in using data management and analysis tools Experience in managing and implementing successful projects Optimizes work processes by knowing the most effective and efficient processes to get things done, with a focus on continuous improvementEducation:
Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience- Habilidades de Liderazgo
