Plant Manager Rubber

General Purpose

Plant Managers main task is to run and continuously develop the factory operational and its financial performance.

Safety has the highest priority. High quality is our standard.

Plant Manager is responsible for product cost competitiveness.

He/she will be responsible for HSEQ, output according to demand, absorption performance, manufacturing, local COE, production planning, procurement and ME.

Plan Manager is member of R&P management team and will report to SVP, R&P Supply Chain.

Key Tasks

Raise the factory performance in world class.

Lead and continuously develop the organization Build organization according to R&P standard Lead MO standard HR processes Optimize resources Develop the capabilities in organization Build, maintain and continuously develop the factory management system in accordance with R&P standard management system Regular Gemba walks to secure discipline and execution of management system on shop floor and offices Identify deviation, define, implement and record the corrective and preventive action Report the performance according to R&P standard Run the operations Understand the demand and optimize the resources accordingly Continuously develop the operations according to LEAN principals Continuously standardize and develop processes with global organization (ME, sourcing, order management and ME) Provide the products to customers according to their demand. Maintain and distribute the lead times for sales organization. Continuously reduce the lead times. Maintain and develop SAP in accordance with global guidelines. Networking Continuous co-operation with local MA and CL to secure OTD and develop the logistics and with PL’s to develop manufacturing processes and competitiveness for their processes. Work with R&P internal stakeholders to standardize and develop internal processes (including SAP). Develop people Aim is to raise each of R&P manufacturing units to world class by LEAN implementation and professional manufacturing management. Other regular leadership & management tasks defined by Metso or Rubber & Poly-Met management Participate in Strategic and annual planning Plant management system development Development and performance discussions and other HR processes Safety management Others
