Are you ready to power positive change?  

 

Your Mission: As our Sr Process Engineer based in Mexicali and reporting to the Sr Manager Engineering, you will apply scientific/ technical knowledge in the design, development and implementation of engineering models, tools and/or processes. You’ll be responsible for planning and directing engineering programs/projects, setting priorities and allocating resources, and making necessary decisions on day-to-day operating matters. This role is responsible for cross-discipline activities and cannot be assigned to a specific engineering specialty.

  • Generally regarded as an expert in the specific field of the assignment.
  • Proficient in modeling the business influences of process/ equipment qualification and development (e.g. manufacturing cost, product value, NPV).
  • Technical leader within an assignment or project area.
  • Uses expertise to identify opportunities for operational, technology and talent improvement and the application of external industry st practices.
  • Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires in-depth evaluation of secondary factors.
  • Exercises excellent judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria.

  • Demonstrates leadership in applying SunPower values.
  • Delivers results that positively impact productivity, team efficiency, and quality of product/technical work.
  • Provides consistently high-quality technical work on multiple projects, which have a positive financial impact on business goals and on customer satisfaction.
  • B.S. degree in Engineering and 5+ years of related experience or M.S. Degree and 3+ years or Ph.D. 2+ years
  • OR equivalent combination of education and years of related experience
  • Mandatory Mandarin Language (Speaking, Reading)
