Job Title: Staff Accountant - Latam
Location: Remote (PST Timezone)

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8AM to 4PM PST

Job Description:

Join our dynamic team and contribute to our mission of delivering top-tier financial services by managing complex accounting tasks with precision and professionalism. We are looking for a Staff Accountant, a role crucial for our operations and growth, as you'll ensure financial accuracy and client satisfaction across multiple accounts.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Financial Management: Handle all aspects from Invoicing to Collections, and Procurement to Payment. Ensure accurate and timely financial processes for assigned clients.
  • Software Proficiency: Demonstrate proficiency in QuickBooks Online; utilize its features to manage financial data effectively, including matching and multi-matching in the bank feed.
  • Problem Solving: Address and resolve complex customer information issues using general accounting principles.
  • Project Management: Manage a recurring task list, ensuring projects are successfully closed out and processes are consistently applied across different clients.
  • Client Communication: Communicate with clients regarding specific scope of work items, maintaining clarity and professionalism.
  • Continuous Learning: Embrace a learning mentality to not only complete tasks but to fully understand processes to replicate them accurately across various client scenarios.

Required Skills:

  • QuickBooks Online: High-level proficiency with QuickBooks Online is essential.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze financial data and solve accounting problems.
  • Communication: Excellent written and spoken English with an emphasis on clear and proactive communication.
  • Adaptability: Ability to work independently in a personal workspace via video, adhering to consistent work hours.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience with platforms that sync invoices or bills back to QuickBooks Online.
  • Proficiency in using Slack for team communications.
  • A proactive attitude, eager to learn, and a desire to take on additional responsibilities.
  • Comfortable with over-communicating, asking questions, and exploring the reasons behind processes.
