Job Description

  • Network Monitoring and Analysis
    • Monitor OT networks and systems for security breaches, performance issues, and operational anomalies.
    • Utilize security information and event management (SIEM) tools to analyze security alerts and logs.
    • Conduct real-time analysis of incidents and escalate issues according to defined protocols.
  • Incident Response and Mitigation
    • Lead the investigation and response to security incidents within OT environments.
    • Implement and coordinate incident containment, eradication, and recovery measures.
    • Document and report on incidents, providing detailed analysis and recommendations for future prevention.
  • Security Implementation and Management
    • Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, procedures, and guidelines for OT networks.
    • Deploy and manage security tools, such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDPS), and endpoint protection solutions.
    • Ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of OT systems and data.
  • Compliance and Risk Management
    • Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analysis for OT environments.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant standards, regulations, and best practices (e.g., NIST, ISO/IEC 27001, NERC CIP).
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address security risks and vulnerabilities.
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Participate in the development and implementation of security training and awareness programs.
    • Stay updated with the latest security threats, trends, and technologies related to OT networks.
    • Recommend and implement improvements to enhance the security posture of OT environments.
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Work closely with IT, engineering, and operations teams to integrate security practices into network design and operations.
    • Provide expert guidance and support for OT security initiatives and projects.
    • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels regarding security issues and initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Overall 5 Years in Security topics

Skill Set

  • Strong knowledge of OT network protocols and architectures (e.g., SCADA, DCS, PLC).
  • Experience with network monitoring and security tools (e.g., SIEM, IDPS, firewalls).
  • Proficiency in incident response and security analysis.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, IEC 62443).
