Overall Purpose of the Job
Providing administrative support to the Logistics department by undertaking various duties including data input, compilation of data and report writing.
Key Activities and Accountabilities
1. Administer, maintain and further develop department on-line workspace / portal.
2. Collect reporting data from Logistics’ Managers.
3. Provide departmental administrative support as and when required.
4. Preparation of reports in Microsoft Office applications, etc.
5. Collect and maintain departmental data.
6. Maintain department logs such as holidays, training & development, appraisals, travel, etc.
7. Responsible for the monthly collation of all aspects of Logistics performance, produce metrics and monthly scorecard to support.
8. General photocopying, filing and archiving.
9. Answer telephones, take messages and relay the information to the appropriate person.
10. Collect and distribute mail, faxes etc.
11. Control and implement ordering of stationery, office furniture and canteen supplies for the department as necessary.
12. Assist in setting up meeting rooms, booking and ensuring materials in place.
13. Organise and co-ordinate travel arrangements for department as required.
Job Knowledge and Qualifications
1. Competent in the use of Excel, PowerPoint and Word
2. 2+ years’ experience in a similar role
