Primary Function of Position:

The primary role for this position is to assist in management, scheduling and development of the Manufacturing Training Team. This includes working with production supervisors to coordinate training efforts within their areas. This position will also help to perform day-to-day administrative duties and tasks to support production and training.

.Roles & Responsibilities:

 

  • Work with counterpart at SV to coordinate shared goals and projects that affect Manufacturing Training in general.
  • Responsible of Training matrix according to validation every Line Transfer plan.
  • Direct and deliver training courses in the areas of manufacturing skills and processes, quality systems/GMP practices and requirements, Information Technology tools and other subjects as required to develop trainees to a higher knowledge level.
  • Apply latest concepts and ideas to changing organizational requirements, to effective manage training and certification criteria and requirements.
  • Write and conduct formal annual performance reviews and goals for direct reports.
  • Help to define and manage Trainers performance metrics and goal.
  • Work with training staff and Production Supervisors to coordinate training efforts in production areas.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of trainers against establish department and positional standards and provide coaching as needed.
  • Maintain area-training matrices, schedules and plans
  • Drive our Culture Strategy by fostering our mission, founding principles, individual and leadership expectations.
Qualifications

Skills, Experience, Education, & Training:

 

  • 2+ years Supervisory experience. In medical device industry preferred.
  • Proficient with MS Word, Excel and Power Point.
  • Ability to present training course material to individuals and groups and to effective facilitate their learning process.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong Organizational skills.
  • A firm understanding of Demand Flow Technology / Lean Manufacturing concepts and disciplines.
  • A firm understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Intuitive Surgical Quality system requirements.

Language requirements:

 

High English Level
