General Objective Of The Position
Ensure launches of new projects and engineering changes of projects in mass production in a timely manner.
Position Responsibilities
• Meet specific customer requirements in each launch phase.
• Activity monitoring meetings.
• Creation of Quotes for Engineering changes or improvements to the Product/Process Responsible only for the programs already approved (awarded) in the PICS system.
• Track costs and timing in the tooling StopLight Chart. Report the status of the Stop Light Chart to the Program Manager (located in the Auburn Hills corporate offices).
• Provides support to the Program Manager for the launches of new programs in the APQP process: coordination of prototypes, Internal Process Sign Off (PSO), PSO with the client, production batches for delivery to the client
• Meet specific customer requirements in each launch phase.
• Monitoring actions for New Products and/or Engineering Changes and escalation when special attention is required internally or at the corporate level.
• Provide support to the Sales Manager to coordinate events at the Hutchinson plant: Prototyping and launching engineering changes (already awarded in PICS) for mass production projects.
• For all programs in APQP phase 4 (already launched in mass production): responsible for managing engineering changes.
• Responsible Stop Light Chart follow up
• Monitoring of runs in a timely manner.

Job profile:
Industrial / Mechanical Engineer or similar Essential English 3 years experience in similar position Project Management or Project Engineering Experience in KAIZEN Methodology, AMEFS, PPAP, APQP, POKA-Yokes Experience in the Automotive Industry PPAP monitoring for components and final productEnabling The Mobility Of The Future
